The flooding was relentless. Suthi and her husband had to move residents upstairs as the ground floor became submerged. The loss of electricity added to their woes, forcing them to rely on batteries for essential oxygen tanks. Days of candlelit work followed, a stark contrast to the menacing skies above, where a Thai Army helicopter delivered their only connection to the outside world.
