Exclusive: Georg Lux Unveils His Luxe Fashion Empire
The designer, who recently stepped down from Leonard Paris, is set to launch his eponymous luxury fashion brand, offering a unique blend of sophistication and comfort.
In an exclusive interview, Lux shared his vision: "I've noticed a growing desire for elegance, but people still crave comfort. My goal is to provide 'couture utility' - exquisite pieces that exude French luxury and creativity, ensuring you feel effortlessly stylish and at ease throughout the day, no matter the occasion."
The brand's headquarters will be located in a stunning 19th-century townhouse at 29 Rue d'Astorg in Paris' prestigious 8th arrondissement, featuring a studio and a showroom for presentations and events.
The Georg Lux collection will encompass women's, men's, and accessories, targeting the luxury market. This venture is privately funded and supported by co-founders Thomas Pennequin and Théodore d'Alberti, who bring expertise in finance and entrepreneurship.
Pennequin, a legal expert in intellectual property and information technology, and d'Alberti, a finance graduate with a luxury and cosmetics background, will also oversee the brand's image and financial operations, respectively.
The debut collection will be showcased during Paris Fashion Week in March, with an accompanying website launching soon as the primary retail platform. Lux hinted at a unique branding element, the 'Le Talisman' monogram, symbolizing harmony and unity.
This launch marks a significant milestone for Lux, who has previously worked at renowned brands like Tara Jarmon and Requiem. With his educational background in fashion design and a strong belief in the power of luxury to unite people, Georg Lux is poised to make a lasting impact on the industry.
